The film unfolds a young Chinese migrant’s poignant recollection of her love story within an underground troupe against the shifting landscape of Chinese urban queer allies and activism. In her voice-over narration, she reflects on the intimacy, struggles, and sacrifices once shared with a lost lover. As her private memories intertwine with public narratives of resistance, both she and her community navigate secrecy, repression, survival, looming precarity, and displacement under societal pressures, while confronting the personal cost of existing in a world that demands their silence. By its kaleidoscopic assemblages of dramatic re-enactments, interviews, found footage, news archives and psychoanalytically informed representations of consciousness, the film takes an essayistic, and "queering", approach to sexual identity, power, governmentality in contemporary China, where the ongoing ideological tensions between socialism and neoliberalism shape both public culture and private life.

The people of a town are condemned to die one by one by a mysterious stranger who erects a gallows in the town square.

Death by noose. A nasty way to die if you're not dropped from a length, but instead just had the support kicked from beneath you. A series of murders like this is taking place, linked to a net-based game of 'Hangman', the words of which are linked somehow. Detective Roos (LDP) is on the case. He finds himself drawn to Grace Mitchell (Madchen Amick), who is somehow connected to all of the victims. Hangman is a story of pure vengeance, against everyone who burdened the killer's mind.

A recently widowed woman works through the complexities of grief with the help of friends, strangers and Tupperware.

Dr. Joyce Hendricks is a professor of psychiatry at the Harvard school of medicine. She specializes in the study of violent individuals, specifically serial killers. She and her colleague have been documenting their work. This is their first day in Huntsville, Texas where they meet Bobby.
